Over a six-month period, you can check out what STEM is about at a university of applied sciences, university and at KÄMMERER. In return for your commitment, you’ll be paid for your internship.

At our company, you can immerse yourself in the fascinating world of specialty paper manufacturing – we’re one of the world’s supreme experts for wallcover, poster paper and abrasive base paper. Basic training in the workshop

Your journey begins with 3 - 4 weeks in the training workshop. Here, you’ll be educated in metalworking fundamentals; you’ll learn how to handle tools and equipment – an essential foundation for understanding our technical systems and facilities.

Gaining experience, lending a hand

In the 6 - 8 weeks that follow, you’ll “work” in the metalworking shop, the electrical workshop, the laboratory or the power plant: this opportunity to rotate through departments allows you to gain a whole wealth of experience. And, bear in mind: you’ll not only be present but in the thick of it, lending a hand. Each day, you’ll accompany a journeyperson and get a chance to do an incredible number of things on your own.

Just like in real working life

Early December, you’ll get started on your project: with our experts at your side, our Head of Technical Department, for example, you’ll be working on a real project and putting your ideas into practice. This is where your active involvement is required.

Creating genuine added value

Late February, you’ll present your project: you’ll have an opportunity to hold a presentation on the completed project – at your university or university of applied sciences. But your project will also be in our heads, because we will continue to pursue and implement it!
